Um...: as a seasoning for upcoming holidays? Indian Methi dishes? Sure. I tend to go more for Tumeric or Cumin, though personally.

Yes but why: Fenugreek is a plant from which the seeds are used to make medicine. In some countries the leaves are eaten for their proposed medicinal qualities. There are many uses for fenugreek the main one being to slow the absorption of sugar in diabetics. There is really no other need to take fenugreek and even diabetics should be wary of interactions with medications.

Fenugreek: I don't know why not, even some women take it to promote milk flow during breast-feeding.
