I'm 5 days post-op from having my gallbladder removed laparoscopically.i still have extreme bloating and discomfort,but not much pain.is this normal?

Bloating post op: Likely, all instilled air is gone. I suspect you have slowed intestinal motility still. Be sure you are not backed up. Eat small portions, small meals, small bites. Walk twicw daily.

Yes: usually lasts a few days to 1 wk after. If gets worse please call your surgeon to discuss. Sounds like you're on road to recovery! hang in there!
