Yea: I think retesting is a good idea, just in case, since sometimes the test needs sometimes (3-6 months) to become positive. Leukocytosis is not a usual feature of HIV infection., other causes as more likely..

WBC 8.8. Neutrophils 78.8%. Absolute 6.9. Lymphocytes 14.5%. Absolute 1.3. Negative HIV ab/ag test 75 days post exposure. If HIV was causing these numbers, it would certainly be positive by a test correct?
