No Easy Feat: Well, many people can't touch their toes, let alone point them! You just need time to adjust your body and tendons to the new challenges ahead, Just be patient and don't overdo it .Your body will adjust (unless maybe you're from China and had your feet bound). Your Pilates teacher should be qualified to help you through this.

Pointless....Toes.: If in 44 years, you have never been able to point your toes, I must say, that's amazing. Why after all that success, would you want to begin pointing them now. Just a thought. But , go ahead and start the exercise, it may prove to be very beneficial.
