Perhaps the appendix: Common causes of right lower quadrant abdominal pain in your age group include: appendicitis (inflammation of your appendix) and possibly an inguinal hernia. While appendicitis is typically associated with more intense pain and fevers, occasionally chronic inflammation can cause low grade discomfort as well. Given that it has been going on for so long, please consider seeing a doctor.
