Ive had migraines for years. ive taken a combo of 2 motrin and 1 excedrin for years. will this have a negative effect on my body?

No...but: Both Motrin and caffeine ( excedrin ) can cause rebound headaches with over use. Also, we try to limit the dose of Motrin to 800 mg per dose in men and 600 mg in women to avoid inhibition of Prostaglandin E2 and subsequent reduced renal blood flow. Motrin can also cause GI irritation and bleeding.
