A member asked:

Sometimes when i am lying on my leg at night the thigh starts tingling and goes numb is this because i am overweight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Happens to everyone: Compressing a limb at night is something that we all do at some time or another in our lifetime. Doesn't matter if you're overweight or even UNDERweight a person's ENTIRE bodyweight is much greater than the weight of just 1 limb, right? Sooo, the ability to compress a limb by the body by sleeping on it in a funny way is great.
