What is brevoxyl creamy wash benzoyl peroxide 4%??? is it effective???does it make skin dark?? does it have any kind of side effects??

Acne skin cleanser: Benzoyl peroxide is a very good acne product that is primarily antibacterial and alone works well for mild acne or in conjunction with other topical creams or oral meds for more severe acne. Side effects are low, but some people are sensitive and skin gets red and dry. Skin staining is rare, unless skin gets inflamed. It can bleach wash cloths and clothing.

Used for acne: Should not darken skin. Side effect is usually dry skin so use a non-comedogenic (won't clog pores) moisturizer to keep skin moist and not too dry.
