OrthoIodination: I presume that you are taking Lugol`s solution. Each drop has 3.0 to 3.125 mg of Iodine ( 1.875 of KI and 1.25 of Iodine ). This is probably not the cause of your period not coming. Can you be pregnant? If you want to take this amount of Iodine per day you should check your spot urine for Iodine and then a 24 hours urine collection for Iodine after 50 mg of Iodine.
