Lightning pain: Most likely, if your eye and vision are otherwise normal, that this is a condition termed "lightning pain", like a sudden stab next to the eye. It is momentary, comes from no cause and leaves no traces afterwards. It is a random firing of a sensory nerve and something you don' t have to worry about.
