Measurement: How are you measuring your temperature? Your actual body temperature correlates most closely with a rectal temperature. Oral temperatures tend to run lower than actual temperature, and other locations of measurement drop off significantly in accuracy and precision. With a temperature of 97.1 I wouldn't worry about it. It most likely reflects imprecision in measurement.
