Will ultrasound help my tfcc injury heal?

Doubtful, but...: I diagnose TFCC tears daily with MRI and CT arthrogram studies, and work closely with a large group of well-trained Hand Surgeons and PTs. Every therapy you can think of has been tried, and none seems to work very well. Severe pain is usually treated with ulnar shortening or surgery at the attachment sites of the TFCC. Sometimes, the pain resolves without surgery. But, it never hurts to try US.
