Throat pain: May be as simple as post nasal drip issue or reflux (heartburn). If you have a chronic sore throat or hoarseness, you should have someone look at your vocal cords (ENT)

Neuralgia: This may represent glossy pharyngeal neuralgia. I would suggest either seeing your ear, nose and throat physician or neurologist to secure the diagnosis and guide future treatment. Good luck and well wishes.
