More information: More information is needed in order to answer. Where are you in your cycle? This could be your period, implantational bleeding, ovulation bleeding, cervicitis, or an infection. What are you using for contraception? Hormonal methods such as rings, patches, pills implants, and the Mirena (levonorgestrel) or Skyla IUD will change your period. Are you taking any medicines. That can also change periods.
