Is there an artery near or alongside the small saphenous vein? is there a name for it?

Sap heinous: No major artery next to small saphenous vein. The posterior tibial artery and dorsalis pedis arteries are around ankle/foot which are still far from saphenous vein.

Saphenous vein: There is no artery that runs alongside the saphenous vein. This vein is a superficial vein and is the longest vein in the body. Much deeper to the saphenous veins is the femoral vein which has an artery next to it called the femoral artery.

A stretch....: If one exists, it would be found in the area of the popliteal fossa. Here the small saphenous vein terminates somewhat deep in the fossa. Below are the popliteal vessels, including the popliteal artery. Just a thought.
