Potentially pregnant: Birth control pills need to be taken regularly to maintain steady levels of hormone. Missing birth control pills is a set up for conceiving. Making up for missed pills is usually recommended, but it is no guarantee for successfully preventing ovulation. If more than one pill have been missed, I suggest to take the make up pills, complete the pill cycle, but use condoms during that cycle for backup

Pills: It is possible for you to get pregnant if you forgot the 3 pils around day 9-15 of your cycle. However if it was before or after those days, unlikely. Try taking your pills at the same time, say right before you go to bed or when you awaken in the am, which will help you remember. Also, you can always carry an extra month in your purse in case you travel and forgot to put the in the suitcase.
