: If the "white" pills are "active"(containing estrogen/progesterone) they will not "stop" a post-ovulatory period. To effectively stop your menses, start a low dose BCP on the second day of your next period, and continue with just active pills (without placebos) into the next bcp pack. Cannot predict chances of pregnancy.
