Not normal, see Dr.: Not likely a medical emergency. If vaginal opening is swollen then the problem is likely to be some sort of irritation or infection that involves the vagina and the burning may be because the urethra is also inflamed. A urinary tract infection is most common cause of burning with peeing, but does not usually cause vaginal swelling. See Dr. if symptoms continue.
