Continuous BCP: Assuming you are having no problems, and the oral BCP's are low dose types, currently extended use of estrogen/progesterone types of low dose contraceptives is not contraindicated. It might be advised to take a five day "break" on your pills, which might cause some light bleeding in 5-10 days (but you can resume on day six, regardless) . It is not necessary to have bleeding for "1-2 weeks"/month.
