A member asked:

My was recently diagnosed with endometriosis, she was given progest- to take two weeks at a time; she hasn't noticed any change. what else can be done?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Endometriosis Dx: You did not say how endometriosis was diagnosed or what symptoms are you having. It can only be definitively diagnosed with a diagnostic laparoscopy at which time all evident disease should be surgically removed. While the progesterone may reduce some of the pain, it is not going to treat the condition as it has been prescribed or improved the odds of pregnancy if that is your goal.
