Periphery injury cause by alcohol after stop alcohol how long can it take the burning pain to stop ?

Depends: It is hard to tell when or if the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy will resolve. It really depends upon the extent of the damage. Your doctor may recommend a medication such as gabapentin to help with the pain. Sometimes the damage resolves and sometimes it does not. In any case you want to find something to treat the pain, then wait to see if symptoms will resolve.

Peripheral neuropath: can be due to a number of effects of alcohol including b vitamin deficiency (easily treated, generally with regular cheap vitamins) but would be good to verify b12 level. Nerves take time to heal; up to 6 months. Sometimes, the damage is permanent.
