See details: Irregular menstrual cycles occurring at an average of 40 days are not normal. You are most likely not ovulating. This can have several consequences over the long term. Therefore, I would strongly suggest you see a gynecologist for an evaluation. There may be a correctable cause. There are many hormone abnormalities that can cause this.

Don't worry: Women often have menstrual cycles which are regular but many do not. i hear nothing that worries me but at some point you should have an appointyment with your doctor and cconfirm what I said.
