Vaginal swelling: Assuming you mean your vaginal canal, and you are having infrequent sexual activity, this may be normal, and if no other symptoms are occuring (discharge, odor, etc.) it is not abnormal and can simply reflect overirittation of the lining and sensitive external vaginal surfaces. See a health care professional to be certain, however.
