Was he treated?: Hopefully he got treated as well. If your doctor prescribes a single dose of medication, wait 7 days after taking the medicine before having sex. If your doctor prescribes a med for you to take for 7 days, wait until you have taken all of the doses before having sex. So you might get reinfected. Depends: The typical one day treatment for chlamydia remains in your body working for a week or so.This would kill off any chlamydia still in your partners system on the 15th. However, chlamydia is like many other germs that can infect you any time you are exposed, so this one treatment does not protect you from future infections.Since this germ can make you sterile, pay attention. BF must be treated.
