OBGYN Sequelae!: Dear Erica, In principle, no doctor would ever ethically behave in a way which could, in any way, be interpreted as "vindictive". For example, he would not conjure up ways to punish you for smoking. Today, MOST docs don't smoke but we still have patients who do, and all respond to this by suggesting standard of practice ways to stop with adequate explanation of why smoking is very bad for you. thx
