Varies: Remember, there is no set recommendation about exercise for your knee pain. General recommendations for your overall health sit in the range of 3 hours/week of "cardio" - for you I would encourage limited weight bearing forms like an elliptical/swimming. Consider strength training 2-3 days/week. Don't for get flexibility, it's important in the long run for soft tissue health.
