Depends: It will wear off slower if you have any defects in how your liver or kidney handle the medicine. Usually the effects should be noticeably gone after about 12 hours, but it can take longer than that to completely be eliminated by your body. Be careful and do not drive or use alcohol while using the Xanax (alprazolam).
