Nuvigil: is used for excessive daytime somnolence in adults who have Narcolepsy, OSA and shift work sleep disorder. There is addiction potential and other medical risks for those with heart, kidney or liver conditions. Nuvigil can precipitate Manic episodes in people with Bipolar Disease and it also lowers the seizure threshold. One can become allergic to this medication. It can cause liver problems.
