Use Caution: 2 sips of beer is probably not a problem, but it is never a good idea to mix alcohol with sedating medicines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine). It would be better to use a long acting, low sedating antihistamine instead. These includ Zyrtec, Allegra, and Claratin.
