Notify prescriber: Treating that infection is critical, so do all you can to keep those pills down with the timing exactly as prescribed. Try taking it with food - applesauce, crackers, broth, lean meat or yogurt with live active cultures (bonus: protective intestinal bacteria repopulation). If you vomit up the pills, you have to tell the doc because you would need IV meds. The last thing you want is a fistula...

Cramps: If it has been over 2 hours since you took the medication, you might try a dose of Pepcid (famotidine) or Maalox. All the best, hope you feel better.
