Depo and menses: The Depo shot makes the lining thin. If you missed the shot, it may have allowed more buildup of the lining and the heavy bleeding 5 days ago was normal but the continued bleeding is related to inducing the thinning of lining.If you aren't having any other symptoms, you shouldn't worry. However, i would monitor your cycles and tell your doctor if it persists.
