No: Mesh bladder slings have not been associated with autoimmune disease to the best of my knowledge. In fact, mesh bladder slings have helped more women than they have harmed despite the flood of commercials from greedy lawyers looking to sue the manufacturer. Certainly there can be complications, but there are far more successes.
