Sebaceous cyst: Sounds like a sebaceous cyst which can usually be removed in the office. Have your doctor take a look.

Hurts when pressed: would imply you probably do not want to keep it. Cysts can be surgically removed by general or plastic surgeon. They need to be completely removed or they grow back. It is an office procedure with local anesthetic.
