Get evaluated: Implanon can cause change in periods, including prolonged bleeding. However, hormone is out of ur system w/i 6 days of removal. Can take up to 3 mos for ur menses to adjust to oral contraceptive. SSRIs, like sertraline can also affect periods. If you are having more than just spotting, see your clinician to rule out other possible causes. Otherwise, if no improvement on pill after 3mos see dr
