Can alcohol abuse cause retina detach?

Alcohol abuse: can create lots of problems. Alcohol can act as a blood thinner which can damage weak small vessels behind the eye near the retina. Please see an opthamologist and also look into a 12 step program or addictions specialist. Peace and good health.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
