Candida Fungus: Oral thrush is caused by a yeast infection on the surface of the soft tissues, whereas a tooth abscess is caused by bacteria which have infiltrated into the bone or deep under the gum tissue. They are not related. Have your teeth examined by a dentist and take care of that yeast infection.

Definitely, no: In most cases, Candida infection can be controlled with anti-fungal medication. See your dentist for evaluation and thrush and tooth treatment. Take care.
