Anal symptoms: A fungal infection might cause symptoms of burning or itching in the anal area. Hemorrhoids can occasionally be internal and invisible to the eye. This might also cause discomfort. You can try a hemorrhoidal ointment and avoid constipation by eating lots of leafy vegetables, drinking plenty of water, and increasing fiber. Avoiding sugar and carbs will help prevent the fungus from returning.
