It started out looking to be a normal mosquito but and over a period of 3 days has turned purple i havn't scratched much so idk why. should i be concerned? may it be something other than a mosquito?

Purple: The purple discoloration may be ecchymosis from a capillary or small vein that bled after the bite. This not serious if there is no spreading redness,swelling or tenderness. The discoloration will gradually fade.
