Keep clean n dry: watch for oozing and signs of infection. Next time ice the area immediately. It will heal but will take some time, careful with that curling iron in future...

Local care: Apply an antibiotic cream daily and keep the area clean. It may take 7-10 days to heal. If area swells, turns red or causes pain or fever seek medical attention. Thanks for Trusting Health Tap!

Sounds like a: This sounds like a second degree burn which should heal over time. The fact that it has popped and is drying is a good thing however it is possible the area could become infected. It is best to gently clean the area with non-irritating soap and water. Let the wound "breathe" which means you do not need a bandage unless there is a good amount of drainage. If the lesion does not regress seeadoc!

It's the sizzle...: Take out the bar-b-que sauce. Better yet, take out the antibacterial ointment. But, where's the burn? On your face? You say "like a cut," so that means like a thin line? How deep? How painful? If it seems minor to you, keep it clean and put that ointment on it. If it gets infected (swelling, redness, pain, discharge) see you doctor. Any doubts about extent or scarring get your doctor's opinion.
