Medicine effects?: Sometimes medicines can increase the chances that a seizure would return. It's true that temporary symptoms like these new ones could be a seizure. Many people with absence seizures as children do not have them as adults though. Perhaps what you feel is a little side effect? It does not seem likely the medicine is causing seizures in this case. Abilify (aripiprazole) tends not to cause seizures to return.
