Medicine subs: OK- that sounds fair. So what else would work? Some medicines used for pain other than narcotics- many of them cause sleepiness. For headaches (is that what you have?) perhaps magnesium or propranolol would help. Maybe your question is- what would be the best medicine for symptom ______ ? If so, let us know.
