Naps: Best method of defeating fatigue-sleepiness is learn to recline ; "zone out" ; sleep for about 10-15 minutes. It's a function of one's ability to relax. My hypothesis is that during this time brain neurotransmitters reset. In any case what follows is about six hour run of cognitive alertness. Method seems to work around clock. Caffeine can arouse, but about 6 hours brain alertness centers crash.
