I was diagnosed with a kidney stone 1 month ago. i assume that it passed as i had no pain for weeks. now, pain in area, i could still have the stone.

Yes: or you could have another one. Some people are prone to forming kidney stones. If you had one, you are at slightly greater risk for another, especially if they run in your family. See your doctor to get a urine test to help confirm. Hope this helps!

KidneysDon'tKidAroun: Yes,they are mean buggers that tend to stick around and annoy lots of people.They often get to one spot and get stuck. Or another one drops down from above(the kidney).As long as they are small enough, they will eventually pass (how big was yours?).If the pain gets real bad, especially if you develop a fever or you're so sick you can't eat or drink, you'll need to see the doc again.Got pain meds?
