Is it safe?: Migraine headache is a common neurologic condition that affects many women during the breastfeeding. Regarding the use of triptans during breastfeeding, human data remain poor. The PDR states that 'Sumatriptan is excreted in human breast milk. Therefore, caution should be exercised when considering the administration of IMITREX (sumatriptan) Tablets to a nursing woman.'
