Reflux: One consideration would be referred pain with the sensation of muscle spasm from acid reflux. If the problem persists or worsened see your doctor. At 28 in the absence of valvular heart disease, fever, infection, or autoimmune vasculitis there is not much chance this could be cardiac in origin. One rare cause of muscle spasm in the back of the throat is glossopharyngeal neuralgia.
