Lots of things!: Ulcers can cause RUQ pain, and so can colitis (colon inflammation). Liver issues like hepatitis or cirrhosis can also cause some pain in the right upper quadrant. In addition, sometimes pneumonia or lung issues can, since your lung dips down over the top of your liver. Consider seeing your doctor about the ongoing pain. It may be a simple as changing medications or diet!
