A member asked:

Parents want me to quit opiates, how?

There are many ways: Start with your primary care provider to get a referral to an addiction treatment program. If you have never had treatment, it would be reasonable to consider a short detoxification followed by an intensive outpatient treatment program. If you have tried this previously many times, a longer term maintenance program with methadone or Suboxone would be reasonable. Depends on many factors.
