Xanax (alprazolam) is tough!: Did you know that xanax (alprazolam) is highly "cross-tolerant" with alcohol? You will need to be weaned slowly and carefully by someone experienced.

See detox: You should see a detoxification specialist. These drugs are all addicting and you will need help. It's not a good idea to use one to help you get over another. In your case, xanax (alprazolam) is actually a worse addiction. I hope you get better but you will need help.
