A member asked:

Organic foods are known to be better for you, why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Organic foods are technically those grown with no artificial fertilizers, insecticides or anything not 'natural'. This supposedly limits the body exposure to these potentially harmful agents and some feel it increases the nutrient content of the food. If true, then it is better for you but there is no proof that this is true. And the label "organic " is not exactly carefully true.
