Seek another cause: This is really between your friend and his physician. A long cold shower just before the blood draw can cause this kind of elevation. Or he may be seriously sick and be working on his body as a way of coping. Or there may be a mistake or a misunderstanding. Keep being a tolerant friend and if he wants to share something personal like this, he'll do it because you're a true and good friend.
